Normally, after three trial training sessions with the club, you will be in a position to decide whether or not you wish to continue training with us.  We very much hope that you will want to stay with us.  If this is the case, you then need to become a member of Houghton Regis Swimming Club (HRSC).  Our fees are based upon an Annual Membership fee of £42.00 per member with Swimming Fees of £20 per month, per member, for the current year.  Even if you are later invited by your coach to join an additional training session, your monthly swimming fee will remain at this rate.  These fees are based on the whole year costs of pool hire and take into account reduced swim sessions during holiday periods. 

The membership fee is payable upon initial joining of the club, and from then on it is payable by every club member in March each year.  There is a 25% reduction in the Annual Membership fee for each expired complete quarter of the relevant year when joining the club.

If and when you start paying your Swimming Fees on a monthly basis, we would appreciate payment by standing order if at all possible. 

ASA Membership

In addition to the Annual Membership fee and the Swimming Fees, every swimmer is expected to become an ASA member and the fee for ASA membership in most cases is £9.90 for the year 2010 to 2011.  However, if the swimmer competes at county level then the ASA fee will be higher.
